The sea

Waves high encase me
and I am free
to sink in salt cushion
padded onging
drags me down
too weak

so I'll become
food
scavenged by the lowest sea life
grazing in the sand
high above
heavens burst
baptism of pure water
baths my soul
alas
too late I fear
