glamorous it seems
wings delicate
splashed with colour
fly free
limited time,
no guide, all free flowing
destination unclear,
just to 'that place'
wherever that may be
float, hover, settle sometimes
proboscis seeks the sweet taste
yellow magic dust
upon roses, pansies, daisies
whatever is about
take your fill
gracious gliding thing of beauty
life limited, yet you do not complain
came to be from humble beginnings
spread your beauty wide.
