Dear mother,
I'd like to take the time
And thank you for all those times I didn't
Or couldn't
Wouldn't-
Ostinentatiousness
Arrogance
Defiance was my mantra
But times have changed-
I've grown
Come to realise you were right
I-wrong
Always
I appreciate your words more now
Your opinions
Your guidance-
It's never to late
So
I thank you
